Who whe are

Created in 1998 under an Inter-ministerial Delegation for Regional Development and Action (DATAR) initiative, the Route des Villes d’Eaux du Massif Central is an original inter-communal tourist development body, whose mission is to bring about a tourist network specific to spa towns.

This association is supported by the French State, the Auvergne and Bourgogne Regional Councils and the General Councils of Allier, Ardèche, Cantal, Creuse, Loire and Puy-de-Dôme.

Developing and enhancing the image of the spa towns, promoting their assets with a view to bolstering their attractiveness to tourists; this is the Route des Villes d’Eaux du Massif Central’s vocation.
